Amputation: Right BK due to industrial accident – not while racing horses

Handicap: 19

I started playing golf after I lost my leg 8 years ago in 2000, and have never played prior to that.

I attended a clinic at Royal Melbourne Golf Course with Jack Newton & Geoff Nicholas & have been hooked ever since.

2008 Runner Up – Golden Putter competition with Melissa (able bodied tournament)

2007 Winner – B Grade Leg Division Gross Queensland Open

2007 Winner – Golden Putter Competition

2006 2nd Seniors Gross

Participated in the Australia Amputee Open 2006, 2007 & 2008

I helped to establish the first amputee golf championship in Victoria with Limbs 4 Life and am a keen Peer Support volunteer for the organisation as well as being a sub committee member of the Victorian Amp Golf organising committee.

And wish Gary & the team all the best for their first South Australian Open
