Chris picked up his first golf club at the age of 11 and over the years has played in a number of tournaments in Australia and New Zealand. After losing his right hand in a motor vehicle accident 23 years ago which he was a passenger, Chris  focused on other activities for 20 years and over the past 3 years has now reignited his love of the game. An avid golfer currently playing off a 17 handicap with a view of 7 as his goal by 2009 and is currently the 2007 Australian Below Elbow Amputation Champion
